Although it doesn't stop them in the backseat as they get older either! My son and his friend were in my backseat at age 16 or 17, and (I feel so bad), I was purposely trying to AVOID hitting an opposum and it darted another way and I hit it dead on. I went maybe another block or two and another one did the same thing and I nearly hit it too (trying to miss it of course). Both these boys were howling with laughter, absouletly incapcitated. Plus they knew how bad I didn't want to run over them, which made them laugh even harder. I STILL get ribbed about this.

At my friend's daughter's wedding this summer, one of the bridgesgrooms stood up and talked about how when they were kids he loved to point out roadkill to the bride, because she always cried.
Boys.....it was a highlight memory for him.

Val awwww, sorry about the death and mayhem. I actually plowed over a deer in an ice storm a couple of weeks ago. It was already lying in the road and by the time I saw it there was no way to avoid and I couldn't swerve due to other cars. So. Over we went. As far as I know the boys didn't catch it. There was a terrible clunk and I winced. They did ask what that noise was but Hubby said something distracting and it was over. At least they don't have that one to tease me with.

And oh my! What's the deal with boys wanting to pick on girls so much? Hubby loves to tease me too. Doesn't he understand that teasing is only my privilege?

Yes, why don't boys know that? You'll need to remind them of those privileges.

Yeah but in the backseat they don't stop complaining that they can't SEE the roadkill.

Sunny LOL. In our case they weren't really aware of the roadkill until we had the one in the front seat blabbing on about what he saw. Unfortunately now they notice a lot more of what goes on outside the vehicle, so I hear a lot more observations every trip.

Yeah..I really agree with you that children are not allowed to be in the front seat, because if there is an accident of course, the child will be possibly more affected rather than the ones who are in the back seat. there, thanks!

Basically, children are advice to stay in the back seat as they are very playful, it will disturb the driver and as a parents we want to avoid them hurts in times of unexpected accident.
